Author's Note
In 2025, I set out a challenge to get an author's profile on Goodreads. This short story was written in One-shot, hence the name, to ensure I committed to most of what was written and drawn.
It was released bi-weekly on my website, with this being an edited down version. It's probably not as polished as it could be, but you don't need to write something perfect to get a book indexed by search engines.
Thank you to everyone who supported my artwork with likes when I first started working on this. I'm newer to art than when it comes to writing, so at times it's disheartening when I struggle to match the amazing artists that I'm inspired by. ^-^
A lot of the narration is intentionally written to be hammy and also for shock factor, so expect Politics, Sex, and maybe some vague attempt at Freudo-Marxism. If you can, please give this book a review!

Quote
“As a result, therefore, man (the worker) only feels himself freely active in his animal functions – eating, drinking, procreating, or at most in his dwelling and in dressing-up, etc.; and in his human functions he no longer feels himself to be anything but an animal. What is animal becomes human and what is human becomes animal.
Certainly eating, drinking, procreating, etc., are also genuinely human functions. But taken abstractly, separated from the sphere of all other human activity and turned into sole and ultimate ends, they are animal functions.”
— Karl Marx, Estranged Labor.
